This scholarship is designed to encourage enrollment in nursing programs by Kansans committed to practicing in Kansas. Recipients sign agreements to practice nursing at specific facilities one year for each year of scholarship support. There are academic requirements. Interest Rate: If the recipient changes majors or decides not to work for the sponsor as a nurse, the scholarship becomes a loan (with an interest rate equal to the Federal Plus Loan + an additional 5% subject to change annually) accruing from the date scholarship
Award Maximum: $3500
Need based: No
Enrollment: must be in at least 12 or more credit hours
