Job Description
The Neural Regeneration Group at the Institute of Reconstructive Neurobiology at the University Bonn invites applications for a PhD Position (E13/2), starting April 1st 2010.
Candidates will be part of a young and productive research group investigating the role of microglia in neurodegeneration and regeneration of the central nervous system (see also www.meb.uni-bonn.de/rnb/).
Successful candidates should have an excellent track record and should be highly motivated to study the inflammatory response in animal models of neurodegenerative diseases. We will provide excellent training in many aspects of molecular and cellular Neuroregeneration and Neuroimmunology. We offer state of the art equipment, a stimulating scientific environment, and an energetic and productive team focused on microglial cells.
