The Noon Educational Foundation Scholarships are offered to Pakistani Undergraduate Nationals for the 2010/11 session in UK The Noon Educational Foundation was established in 1992 by Lady Viqarunnissa Noon to support scholars from Pakistan to study at leading universities in the United Kingdom.
Eligibility
Awards are made based on the following key criteria: demonstrated academic merit; financial need; the potential social and general contribution to be made by the applicant on his/her return to Pakistan.

The Sir Firoz Khan and Lady Viqarunnisa Noon Educational Foundation was established in 1992 by Lady Viqarunnissa Noon to support bright young scholars from Pakistan to study at leading universities in the United Kingdom, notably the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
As stated in the Trust Deed
“The objects of the Trust are to advance the education of persons (both male and female) born, domiciled or normally resident in Pakistan, by the provision of bursaries, scholarships and other financial support to enable such persons to pursue courses of higher education in the natural, applied and social sciences at Universities and Polytechnics and similar institutions situated in the United Kingdom, The United States of America and elsewhere.”
The trust seeks to make a number of full or partial awards every year, based on the following key criteria

Eligibility
- Pakistan (and normally resident in Pakistan).
- Candidates who have previously studied outside Pakistan will not normally be considered unless there are exceptional circumstances.
- Applicants who have been offered a place to study at Oxford can apply using an application form which will be available on this page in mid-January.
- You must enclose a statement with your application setting out (in not more than 200 words) how you intend to contribute to Pakistan on your return, and how your studies at Oxford would assist you in this.

- financial need of the applicant; spacer spacer the evidence that the applicant has not previously had the opportunity to study abroad, and certainly not at a Western university;
- evidence of the intention of the student to return to Pakistan to pursue their career or further studies;
- potential social and general contribution to be made by the applicant on his/her return to Pakistan following the completion of their chosen programme of study.
