Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in a BRNS funded research project on “Studies on regulation of cell growth by BRCA ½ in prostate cancer cells; influence of certain selected quinones” in the Cancer Cell Biology Laboratory.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • M.Sc in Biotechnology with a minimum of 60% marks (for both B.Sc. and M.Sc.) is essential. Candidates with NET/GATE qualifications and experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques are preferred.
  • AGE: Below 35 years
  • EMOLUMENTS Junior Research Fellow:Rs.12,000/- consolidated per month
  • Duration:Three years or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).
Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for interview
Suitably qualified candidates may send applications on plain paper with a photograph, a copy of full resume and attested photocopies of credentials & experience to reach the undersigned on or before January 5th, 2010. The envelopes must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project, the advertisement number and job title. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project
In the event of more than 10 candidates being short listed, a written test will be done before the selection interview.
